Анотація:
The publication covers issues of general and private pharmacology, stated in curriculum and programme of pharmacology course, approved by Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The course of pharmacology is presented in simple and visual form focussing on the algorithm of studying the subject and facilitating its understanding. The material provided is integrated with other medical, biological and clinical disciplines.
The history of development of drug preparations is presented in a short form, as well as modern classification of pharmacological groups, generalized foreign and domestic data on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacotoxicodynamics of drugs used in medical practice.
The publication is unique in that the bulky and complex material on pharmacology is concisely and clearly structured and presented in easy for perception form. The information for each group is given in a unified and logical sequence describing of the mechanisms of action of drugs and their effects in schemes, thus facilitating perception of the material. It is intended for students of higher medical and pharmaceutical universities of III-IV levels of accreditation, interns, doctors, pharmacists.
